Whale Watching

The Sea of Cortez , declared a whale sanctuary since 1946, is the perfect place to literally 'touch nature'. The Gray Whale give birth to and nurture their young between January and March each year. It is one of the true pleasures of a Baja Sur eco-tour to get close to these magnificent creatures. Gray whales are known to approach small boats playfully, putting visitors within arm's length.
